Korea province animation visit 2018
Seoul, Korea, 16 May 2018 -- After the end of the Timor Leste - Indonesia Viceprovince the EAO regional councilor reached for short 4 days animation visit of Korea, May 13-16. The center of each brief animation visit is the encounter with the respective provincial council. Just few months after received the follow up letter of the Rector major at the end of the extraordinary visitation 2017, Fr. Stefano Yang and his council are focused on the Reshaping process of Salesian presences: reshaping of formation and formators, preventive and discernment approach to some old-new Salesian works are at the center of attention.
Beyond the encounter with the Seoul - Don Bosco Youth Center community that is hosting in these two years the Prenovices from Dae Rim Dong, the Regional councilor met also the two novices with their Novice-director and celebrated morning Eucharist in the Seoul Caritas of Jesus provincial house and FMA provincial house.
A short encounter with three Korean missionaries ad gentes who are visiting their families, meeting with the coordinator of Salesian Brothers (preparing for the EAO Regional Congress) and various items of the preparation for the November 2018 visit of the Rector Major in Korea made the short animation visit time more meaningful and fruitful.
Next visit of the EAO Regional in Korea is scheduled for early November, to guide the consultation - discernment for the next Provincial.
