INDIA: DEATH OF SALESIAN BISHOP

CALCUTTA: 7th May -- Salesian bishop Tarcisius Resto, archbishop of Shillong, died yesterday of complications following open heart surgery. Archbishop Resto became bishop in 1990, and was transfered as Archbishop of Shillong in 1995.
