THE SUN BEGINS TO SET

 

As GC 25 draws to its conclusion, some solid work is being done on various messages to go out from GC25.  And, of course, the final touches are being put to the main chapter documents.

MESSAGE TO THE YOUNG: this would be incorporated into the final chapter document.

SALESIAN BROTHER: a text has been proposed which would speak to the Salesians about the Salesian Brother (in the light of the Beatification of Br. Zatti and Fr. Vecchi's earlier letter on this topic).

PRESS RELEASE ON THE YOUNG: proposed as a release on behalf of the RM and all Chapter members, this text would be addressed to various secular as well as ecclesial groups.  It stresses that educating young people is the only way to ensure the future of the world.

SALESIAN FAMILY: formulated initially by the Vicar, but would come from the whole Chapter.

All of these items will be voted on within the next few hours.
