CONGRATULATIONS EAST TIMOR!

20th May: 'austraLasia' takes this opportunity to congratulate the people of East Timor but especially, of course, the Salesians of the Delegation, on the occasion of celebration of Independence.
During the difficult and bloody final days of oppression, as the people sought to express their will for independence, 'austraLasia' was able to play a small role of information and encouragement to and on behalf of the Salesians who were with their suffering people at every step along that Calvary. It is now a great joy to see the moment of resurrection and to pray with our brothers and sisters there for a Spirit-filled future.
