MANILA: 17 October 2009 -- The Y Factor, the 2009 Yearbook on Filipino Youth produced under the auspices of the Philippines North Province (FIN), won the Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Awards Best Book in Ministry category on October 14, 2009 during the annual Catholic Mass Media Awards Night at the San Carlos Seminary, Manila. This opus segues with the award-winning publication The Changing Face of the Filipino. It also stands as the companion yearbook of the CodeRED family magazine, awarded the 2008 Anvil Award of Excellence, aimed at shaping the Filipino family as the cradle of the future servant leaders of the country.

This unique book features facts and figures, constructive commentaries, and inspiring stories about our youth today. The 2009 edition is the first instalment of many that will chronicle the journey of  Filipino youth.
