Evaluation of Sampran Salesianity Workshop now available

BOSCONET: 11th January 2007 -- Thanks to prompt effort on the part of participants, some helpful translation back in Rome of evaluation sheets in languages other than English or Italian, and some late night hours on the part of the Regional Councillor himself, the evaluation of the Sampran Salesianity Workshop is now available on Bosconet.  It is sufficient to seek that page from the home page at the moment - in one of two places, either under the existing reference on the RH column, or in the 'what's new' section.
If anyone were to be interested in the technical details of the presentation of what was just a normal 'word' or 'txt' file very quickly converted to a presentable html file with CSS, please ask.  The presentation of text on the web using CSS is a step far ahead of the usual 'save as web page' in Word, which produces a 'mirage' masquerading as a web page but in fact one huge mess behind the scenes!
The evaluation is understandably complimentary to many aspects of the organisation which brought Fr Aldo Giraudo to present material of substantial value to the Salesian Family in EAO.  But it also contains a wide range of insights, 'learnings' on the part of participants, which will help others, and suggestions for follow-up.  All grist for the mill.
A number of people found themselves blocked from entering the sample digital library - giving a 'raw' URL was part of the problem, since email these days is frightened off by raw URLS of the kind, mostly identified as spam.  This time I have hidden it behind these words - try your luck over the next 12 hours, at least, by clicking here! While I do not guarantee that this will work - it just might.  Ignore any message which queries the authenticity of the site and plunge ahead fearlessly.  It won't break your computer! I would really appreciate any comments on the possible deployment of a site of this kind in the region (assuming we can alter the interface from the current 'Greenstone' presentation, which we can of course, and additionally can present it in the languages of the region). I have in hand a set of texts (7 volumes of them!) by Fr Andrej Majcen, missionary to Vietnam, whose cause for canonisation is in its early stages.  A digital library of the t pe described in the previous austraLasia could make these texts more widely available.  Greenstone further permits the possibility of saving a 'collection' to CD.
