Our FIN Province announces in deep sorrow the passing away of one of our confreres.
Fr. Jose Generoso Taqueban.also known as Fr. Gene, passed away at 2:03 this morning,April 25, 2015, after suffering from a stroke some days ago.
The wake will be at the Don Bosco Academy, Mabalacat, Pampanga. Let us all pray for the repose of his soul.
Some basic information about Fr. Gene:
Born on April 28, 1955, Fr. Gene made his First Religious Profession on April 01, 1978. He was ordained a Salesian priest on December 06, 1986.
He spent a good number of years working in the Philippine-South Province before going to Ethiopia as a missionary.
Last year, 2014, he returned to the FIN Province and was assigned as Technical Director of the TVET Center in DBA Mabalacat, Pampanga. He would have turned 60 years old this coming April 28
