Japan Salesian Family DB200

   In 2013, the Commission DB200, comprised of representatives from all the members of the Salesian Family in Japan, was inaugurated.  There are 8 groups of the Salesian Family in Japan: SDB, FMA, Sisters of Caritas of Jesus (CSJ), Salesian Cooperators, ADMA, VDB, Past Pupils of Don Bosco, and Past Pupils of FMA. 
    The Commission set forth the aims for the Salesian Family to put into practice: 
1) enhancing encounter and creating of bonds among friends of Don Bosco 
2) the young people as protagonists, and the Salesian Family to serve the young 
3) study what Don Bosco would dream of in Japan today.  

In this line, the Salesian Family has realized various initiatives, organizing events, study seminars, producing commemorative items, publications, making use of SNS, etc., expanding the communion of the family.
