UPS, March 29 -- The comunity of St. Francis de Sales of the Vice-province “Maria Sede della Sapienza” (Rome) comunicates that today on Holy Thursday, our Good Lord have called to His house Fr. Federico Baggio, SDB at the age of 94 years.
Fr Baggio was:
- Born in Cusinati di Rosa’ (Vicenza) on 26 Sept,1923
- Novitiate at Villa Moglia in 1944 (Chieri, Torino)
- Perpetual profession in Tokyo (Japan) in 1950
- Priestly ordination in Cusinati di Rosà (Italy) in 1980
- From 1946 to 1948 he was a teacher in Cumiana (Torino, Italy)
- From 1948 to 1977 he was a teacher in technical school (Japan)
- Since 1977 was a member of the UPS Delegation and Vice-province, served as Director with the Bookstore and Economer of Don Rua community.
- Since 1981 was member of Gesu Maestro community.
May he rest in peace!

1948～1976年 育英学院（1966年育英高専に昇格、現サレジオ高専）木材工芸科教授
1950年7月29日 終生誓願宣立
1976年9月 ローマ・サレジオ大学にて神学課程
1980年12月7日 司祭叙階。引き続きサレジオ大学内書店に勤務。共同体の財務などを兼務し、日本からの留学生の世話をきめ細かく奉仕していた。
2018年3月29日 帰天（94歳）
