HUA HIN: 2nd April 2005 -- The Thai Salesian Youth Pastoral Team, led by Fr.Yarat, has organized an 8 day summer camp event for Catholic boys aged 11-16 from many parts of Thailand,  to experience  Salesian life with 16 SDBs [5 priests, 1 brother, 1 deacon and 9 clerics].

    The camp began on March 28 and will continue to April 4.  Taking part are 92 boys who want to know who the Salesians are. They have enjoyed lots of activities, like group building, talks, games, sports, rallies. The Salesians among these young people have also enjoyed the blue and wavy seas of Hua-Hin.

    Some of the youngsters have jumped into the sea for the first time in their lives. From here some will be picked up to enter the Aspirantate and who knows some will be the "future Salesian".

    Fr.Yarat, who headed up the "Mitraphaab Camp", gave most of the valuable sessions which of course the young enjoyed, and he can expect good results in return.

    Now it's our task to accept the fact that we plant and water but the Lord gives the growth.
