       My Thuan, Vinh Long, Vietnam, 24 January 2022 -- To prepare for celebrating St John Bosco’s feast (January 31), Don Bosco My Thuan Community (Vinh Long) organized a Sports Festival to celebrate the Spring 2022, with the theme “Spring of Love - Spring of Gratitude”. There were 265 participants who are male and female boarding students of Don Bosco My Thuan technical school, and 9 kinds of sports registered. Most of the students registered to compete in 2 to 3 sports or more, including: Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, and Tic-Tac-Toe. The tournament took place in the form of a round-robin in team sports (Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball...) and a knockout round such as Badminton, Billiards...

       Spring Sports Festival 2022 took place in 4 weeks, starting from December 25, 2021 to January 22, 2022. During the past few weeks, the students had been very determined and made great efforts, focused, discussed tactics, and exercised their physical strength carefully before the competition.

       The 2022 Spring Festival was not only about winning and losing through sports, but also having human lessons, fraternal relationships, joy, laughter is interspersed through instructions from the Salesians, Teachers and the Organizing Committee of the tournament.

       The competition days took place exactly as the original spirit of the priest in charge Paul Nguyen Toan Khoa SDB - Head of the Organizing Committee wanted, which is “helping the students have a healthy and holy playground”. After intense competition days, the 2022 Spring Sports Festival closed with a lively and meaningful awarding day.
