Salesian Missionary Intention - October 2018

EAO, 30 September 2018 -- For the Salesians and other consecrated individuals in the Salesian Family. Every month the entire Salesian Family is invited to pray for some specific missionary intention (in tune with the Universal Church's missionary intention as expressed by Pope Francis). The missionary month of October (2018) offers an invitation to pray:

'For Salesians (SDB) and for other consecrated individuals of the Salesian Family' - so that the consecrated individuals of the Salesian Family may awaken their missionary fervour and be present among the poorest.

The Salesian Family is made up of thousands of consecrated individuals who are an opportunity and force for evangelisation. We pray that in every continent they may know how to live their vocation with passion and radiate the joy of loving the Lord and the little ones.

Among the 31 groups of the Salesian Family the following have members consecrated to God with the vows of obedience, poverty and chastity (yellow - groups present in our EAO region):
