Thailand(:nl:)Thailand: The Province of St Paul In1927, 18 Salesian arrived in Thailand to begin work. Today they number 92 involved in 13 schools, 12 parishes, a Youth Centre and specialised works namely a Skills Development Centre for the blind and Retreat houses. The province has achieved much in these years. It assisted in the establishment of two dioceses those of Ratchaburi and Suratthani. Besides the difficulty of evangelization in a predominately Buddhist country, the Salesians find themselves few and scattered in very distant places.
