 Author of many popular works with Salesian themes, and one novel with an Irish one, **The Land of Cain**.
 His best-selling book is **Stories of Don Bosco**, translated into several languages. A fuller biography of Don Bosco is **Give Me Souls!** Both are still in print.
 His book on Marian devotion, **First Lady of the World**, also remains in print.
 Out of print in the U.S. are **Bury Me Deep** (Namuncura), **Halfway to Heaven** (Mazzarello), **General Mickey** (Magone), **Conquistador** (Cagliero), **Sunshine in the Shadows** (Mama Margaret), **Dominic Savio: Teenage Saint**, **The Falcon and the Dove** (Vicuna), **The Wine in the Chalice** (Rua).  Some of these might be available in overseas editions.

 He was also editor of the U.S. **Salesian Bulletin** for several years.(:nl:)
