 Died: Turin, Feb. 28, 1993
 Member of the New Rochelle Province for most of his Salesian life, and beloved pastor of Corpus Christi Parish, Port Chester, N.Y., for many years.

 World renowned expert on the Shroud of Turin, on which he wrote several books, which earned him a brief obituary notice in the **New York Times** (March 4, 1993).

 Wrote a charming biography of his uncle, Blessed Philip Rinaldi, entitled **By Love Compelled** (New Rochelle, 1992), which is still in print; and an account of his life as a pastor, **In Verdant Pastures: From a Pastor's Diary** (New Rochelle, 1985), out of print; and a short life of Fr. Alfonso Volonte, one of his predecessors in Port Chester, also out of print.
