Samphran, Thailand, 7 May 2025 -- On Wednesday, 30 April, three new novices: John Bosco Jiraphat Boonprasit, Louis Mary Poraphat Rueangkitkayan and John Bosco Sarawut Khodchaphongphaiwam began their Salesian life through the novitiate acceptance ceremony presided over by Fr Boonlert Paneetatthayasai, the Provincial of St Paul Province (THA), at the Salesian Novitiate House Sampran, Nakorn Pathom.

The new novices started their novitiate with a spiritual retreat from 2 - 6 May 2025 at the Salesian Novitiate House in Sampran, Nakorn Pathom Province. The retreat was animated by Fr Nopphorn Joseph and Br Suwan Jutasompakorn. In the course of the retreat, the novices spent time in meditation, prayers and celebration of the Holy Eucharist in a pious atmosphere.

Fr. Anusit Chanphen is the current novice director. We pray and support these novices in order that they progress in holiness and grow in the Salesian religious life, so that they will become an important force for the Salesian Congregation in Thailand in the years to come.
