Alafua, Samoa - 15 April 2025 - In an animated display of faith and respect, the students and staff of Don Bosco Technical Centre in Alafua united this Holy Week for a moving enactment of the Stations of the Cross. Led by the dedicated school Principal, Mane Su'a, staff members, and the spiritually guiding hands of Father Paselio Tevaga SDB, this special commemoration transformed the school field into a sacred space for personal reflection, prayer, and deep meditation of the Holy week.
Each class took part in different stations, meticulously preparing to depict the poignant moments of the passion of Christ. From the heavy burden of the cross to the profound compassion of Veronica (played by Emolisa Partch), the students channeled their creativity into presentations that captured the essence of each station. The staging, thoughtfulness, and heartfelt performances were witnessed by parents and the whole school.
The leadership team successfully reminded each student of the understanding that through prayer and faith, they could draw closer to the teachings of Jesus Christ. This artistic portrayal of the Stations of the Cross was a testament not only to the talents of the students but also to the nurturing spiritual accompaniment that Don Bosco Technical Centre cultivates. As students carried the message of the Holy Week home, they did so armed with new insights about their faith and the importance of standing together in prayer in times of challenge.
