Banpong, Thailand, 27 October 2024 -- On 26 October 2024, at 10:00 a.m., Bishop emeritus Joseph Prathan Sridarunsil SDB, presided at the Requiem for Fr Tito Pedron, a Salesian missionary priest, at St Joseph Church, Banpong, Ratchaburi. Bishop Paul Trairong Multree, Bishop of Suratthani and Fr Boonlert Paneetatthayasai, the Provincial of Thailand, concelebrated together with many other Salesian confreres and other diocesan clergy. Other members of the Salesian Family, teachers and students from Salesian institutions, and parishioners came to join the funeral.

Fr. Tito Pedron passed away in Hat Yai, Thailand, on 20 October 2024. He was born on 11 April 1936 at Creola, Padua, Italy. He made his first profession in 1960 at the Salesian House, HuaHin Thailand, and his perpetual profession of vows on 25 March 1966. He was ordained priest on 20 December 1969 in Cremisan, Israel. He returned to the house of the heavenly Father after 64 years of Salesian consecrated life and 55 years of priesthood.
