Tokyo, Japan, 12 September 2024 -- The first Bosco Camp was held at Lake Nojiri from 11 to 14 August. The name was changed from Bible Camp to Bosco Camp for this year's event. Forty-nine junior and high school students from all over Japan gathered at Lake Nojiri, bringing the total number of participants to 78, including Salesian confreres, volunteers, youth leaders, and kitchen staff.
This year, we deepened our study based on the Strenna and learned about the saints prepared by each group leader. We also enjoyed swimming, a barbecue, and an entertainment program, which allowed us to have time to get to know each other, the confreres, and God. We were able to finish the camp without any serious accidents.
I would like to thank all the members who prayed and were involved in various ways in organizing the Bosco Camp. Thank you very much.
