DBFC, LAwaan, Cebu, The Philippines, 22 August 2024 -- Don Bosco Formation Center, Lawaan has officially started the Academic Year 2024 – 2025. The program was held last 17 August 2024, at the Shrine Chapel of St John Bosco the Dreamer, Lawaan III, Talisay City, Cebu. It was a gathering of students under the AB Religious Education and Pastoral Communication and Evangelium program together with the Salesians, Teaching, and Non-Teaching staff.
The program started with the Votive Mass to the Holy Spirit. It was followed by the program proper which began with the entrance of colors and singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Rev. Fr. Adrian Mendoza, SDB, President and Rector of the DBFC community gave his Welcome Remarks and declared the School Year 2024 – 2025 open. Rev. Fr. Vince Michael Sabal, SDB did the presentation for the Faculty and Staff which was followed by an item presentation of the aspirants from Don Bosco Dumangas. The FIS Code of Personal and Professional Conduct was read to the assembly by Rev. Fr Wilbert Dianon, SDB. The signing of the FIS Code of Conduct was done by the Salesians who were present. Asp. Butch Olayvar, the new Apirants’ coordinator accepts the commitment of the Salesians of DBFC. The program ended with the singing of the DBFC hymn, ECCE EGO MITTE ME.
