Sampran, Thailand, 23 August 2023 -- From 18-20 August 2023, the Salesian Commission on Youth Ministry organized a formation of youth leaders [student councils] of the Salesian schools and representatives from the schools of the Salesian Family on the theme: "As Yeast in Today's Human Family". This was held at Savio House, Sampran, Nakorn Pathom Province. There were 90 youth participants and 15 priests, sisters, brothers and teachers. In this leadership camp, the Salesian confreres gave the formation talks on significant topics, namely, 'being like yeast in the society', 'on leadership', 'who is the Salesian', 'listening to one's conscience', 'the social media', and many others. There were recreational activities and training on how to organize recreational activities led by the activity organizers of the “GLAO SOOK” group. The young participants were given the opportunity to put into practice among their peers the skills they learned. They were also divided into groups to discuss on topics such as 'the underprivileged people in society', 'the dangers of bullying', 'helping people in society', etc., in order to give them a wider view of the problems in today's society. The atmosphere in the camp was full of fun, laughter, smiles and tears of gratitude.
