Salesian Brothers looking for Specific Formation in English

EAO Region, 27 February 2023 -- It is a challenge for the Salesian Brothers to find an adequate specific formation community. Paranaque - Manila-based formation community (formation since 1983, and since 2019 with a newly built formation house facility in the 'Seminaryo ng Don Bosco' complex) is one of the four such opportunities around the world - Mexico (Tlaquepaque) and Spain (Barcelona) in Spanish, Cameroon (Yaounde) in French and Philippines (Paranaque) in English.

For the upcoming formation and academic year, the Sandor community (Rector: Fr Ronel Vilbar) is happy to share their formation and academic offering, together with the necessary conditions and preparation for any new Salesian Brothers who wish to avail themselves of this opportunity. Before the pandemic the house was full, with confreres from Europe, Africa and both Asian SDB regions (South Asia and EAO).

The 'presentation package', beyond the academic course curriculum of TPC (Theological and Pastoral Study) at 'Don Bosco School of Theology' that caters also for the EAO provinces students of theology (Specific formation to priesthood), contains the necessary conditions for this formation course (TOEFL B2 level, documents and financial backup from the province).

This multi-cultural community of Salesian Brothers with an international formation team, the highly committed teaching staff at Don Bosco School of Theology, a Brother-friendly environment with quarterly Salesian Brother Ongoing Formation sessions makes the Sandor community quite unique.
