RMG, 28 December 2022 -- 'As the Yeast in the Human Family' - Strenna 2023 video was launched on 27 December by the 10th successor of Don Bosco, Fr Ángel F. Artime from the General House of the FMA sisters in Rome, with LIVE streaming in 5 languages (Italian, English, Portuguese, French and Spanish). Beside the Strenna launching event, the 19 minute Strenna 2023 video in these languages is available on the internet.
The Strenna video story is located on stage at the Valdocco theatre, as one large workshop with 'Be Real - Be Human - Be Holy' slowly emerging as the background. As a dialogue with the young people the whole 'Yeast in the Human family' unfolds. Two attractive testimonies from two Oratory 'Bosconians' - Erico from Ciudad Juarez (Mexico) and Giovanna Bruno (mayor of Andria, Southern Italy). With the challenging background of two cities they share their life-changing experience in the Salesian Oratory, where they encountered a tangible Gospel witnesses and credible Church.
After the World Premiere of the Strenna video, the Rector Major was interviewed by one Salesian Sister and one Salesian Cooperator, about the motivations of the 2023 Strenna theme, about ways how lay members especially can be formed to become yeast in the human family.
We hope that this 2023 Strenna video will reach all Salesian Family lay members like Don Bosco and FMA Past Pupils, Salesian Cooperators and all Friends of Don Bosco. What next? We are ready to receive the full 'Commentary on the Strenna 2023' and then we invite all Salesian Family members to be part of the 41st Salesian Family Spirituality Days online (January 12-15, 2023).
