       HCM City, Viet Nam, 20 November 2022 -- On 11/11/2022, the General Councillor for Youth Ministry, Fr Miguel Ángel García visited Don Bosco Ben Cat community, to a joyful welcome from the young people there. Accompanying him were his secretary and youth ministry councillors from the provinces/ vice-provinces/ delegations of Korea, Taiwan, North and South Philippines, Australia, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan and Cambodia. Welcoming the delegates were the Fr Rector, the superiors and the young people from the community.

       At the beginning of the reception, the boarding students performed a drum-roll to greet them. Next, Fr Rector, Joseph Tam, welcomed the delegation on behalf of the community and introduced the community's works.

       After that, Father Miguel gave a short talk to the young people present in the hall. He mentioned two important things in the Salesian houses of Don Bosco:

       The first thing is the joy expressed through a smile on the lips. That joy does not come from a pocket full of money. It comes from the pocket deep inside the heart, a heart that knows how to love and give love. Joy is also peace of mind.

       The second thing is good friends and good relationships with others. Those friends are also friends of Jesus and they help us get to heaven.

       Concluding his talk, Father Miguel thanked all the young people for their presence today, for their joy and for the love they had for him and other fathers.

       At the end of the meeting, Father Miguel together with other priests gave everyone a blessing. Before leaving, Father Miguel and others shook hands and took pictures with young people.
