       Cebu, The Philippines, 28 November 2021 -- Members of the Association of Salesian Coopertors FIS (ASC-FIS) from Cebu came together for a Renewal of PROMISE led by our Provincial Coordinator Ms Arlenie Sasan to live out the Project of Apostolic Life of the association with commitment as Lay people in the world, in the Church and in the Salesian Family during the Holy Mass celebrated by Father Randy Figuracion at Lourdes Parish. Cooperators not able to physically attended the event following via livestream.

       The event was witnessed by Father Godofredo Atienza, Salesian Delegate for the Salesian Family with Father Orlando Borres and Sister Evangeline Rago, ASC Delegates.

       Considered as the Third Order of the great Salesian Family of Don Bosco, the ASC traces its roots to Don Bosco's early works, offering a spirituality adept for the salvation of youth, the poor and abandoned.

       Salesian Cooperators are required to make an annual renewal of commitment to remind them of their (A) Apostolic commitment, (S) specific vocation of being the Lay Salesians in the world taking up the (C) Challenge to be signs and bearers of God's love in the ordinary circumstances of their lives done extraordinarily.

       The event was highlighted with the distribution of a personal copy of the Project of Apostolic Life (PAL), the constitutions of the association approved by the Holy See.
