Vietnam, 27 October 2021 -- Faced with the limitations caused by the Covid pandemic, affecting the practice of the faith life of Christians, especially young people, the Youth Ministry of the Vietnam Province has issued a statement of online prayer ideas with young people.
Prayer meetings will take place at 19:30 on Saturdays and Sundays of weeks 1 and 2, Sundays of week 3 and Saturday of week 4 of each month, respectively, for those in charge of different groups: young altar servers, Catechists, SYM, Students, Aspirants, and Salesians.
The Youth Ministry has come up with a theme for each month and suggested guidelines for each prayer meeting. The prayer theme for October 2021 is: Our Lives Are Precious.
The first prayer meeting took place on Saturday, 2 October 2021, run by young altar servers from the Don Bosco Tan Cang Community, Bien Hoa. The second meeting was on Saturday, 9 October by Don Bosco Da Lat Aspirants, and the third prayer meeting on Sunday, 10 October was led by the Ba Thon Catechists. The next meetings were led by the Don Bosco Cau Bong, and Xuan Hiep Youth Group.
May this online prayer initiative help attendees, especially young people, have more opportunities to deepen and practise their faith amid the difficulties of the pandemic.
