Makati City, the Philippines, 7 December -- Adapting with the new normal, the Association of Salesian Cooperators (ASC) of Philippines North Province held its traditional annual retreat via Zoom and FB Live on December 5 to 6 2020 with the theme “Be a bearer of Hope: Pray More, Worry Less.”
Over 100 members participated in real time through Zoom and FB Live links while more members watched the replays on the ASC Facebook Group account. Rev. Fr. Romeo Agustin ‘Ting’ Miciano, SDB gave the talk on the theme.
Other than online modality, the two-part recollection carried out the same activities as usually held in the face to face dynamics: mood setting, Cristian prayers, rosary, and group sharing. The goodnight talk was given by FMA Provincial Delegate Sr. Merle Meneses, FMA.
The concluding Mass was celebrated by SDB Provincial Delegate Rev. Fr.Bobby Mac Roxas, SDB. The Province Coordinator Meldy Benitez-Dometita, was tear-eyed with joy in thanking the members and all those involved in making the virtual 2020 ASC Retreat possible.
Indeed, as Fr Miciano shared, hope starts with the desire; and to hope is a choice.
