At the opening proper, the participants were greeted by Fr. Angel Artime, the Rector Major, and Fr. Vaclav Klement, the Regional Superior of EAO, through a video-clip. Then Fr. Dheparat Pitisant welcomed officially all the participants: "We are happy to welcome you all to the house of Don Bosco, which is also our house. May you all feel that this is our house. The Thai Province is happy to have a part in supporting this seminar-workshop. In the past, we have received much help from various places. Now it is time to "give back", generously as well. May this seminar proceed smoothly and achieve its goals..." From there, the seminar-workshop moved on according to the programme laid out.
