Dili, Timor Leste, 20 August 2019 -- The Salesian Family in Dili celebrated Salesian Mission Day for 2019. This celebration was graced with the presence of Thai Salesian missionary Fr. Aaron Alcoseba, SDB. The day's activities included the Eucharistic celebration at which the Provincial, Fr. Apolinário Maria Ornai Neto, SDB, was main celebrant, a short presentation of the speakers and theme for Salesian Mission Day, a video presentation and explanation from the Provincial Missions Delegate, Fr. Manuel Fraile, SDB to the participants who come from different members of the Salesian Family in Dili.
After a break, Fr. Alcoseba shared his life as a missionary and the works in Thailand. This sharing of life and works of the Salesians in Thailand was highly appreciated by the participants who asked some questions to which Fr. Alcoseba responded. After that, the participants had lunch and ended the celebration with pictures taking and dahur, a traditional group dance performed by the participants.
