Don Bosco Agromechanical Technology Center
Bicol, the Philippines, 27 April 2017 -- Dear Friends and Benefactors! I'm happy to share with you on this Eastertide about our humble rural Don Bosco Vocation training center again. You can see many photos from our rural life, sharing the poverty of Bicol Region (Northern islands of Luzon) in this remote area already for past 20 years.
You can see many agricultural products, vegetables and fruits, coming with the sweat and hard work of our village people and our DB trainees. Already thousands of them were prepared for their life in our Training Center - both with agricultural skills, faith and human formation.
Although I have left the positive of DB VTC for the younger confreres last August 2016, I'm still here sharing my life with our youth and local people. Our work for and with 200 young trainees has a simple goal - prepare them for life making their agriculture more effective for their decent livelihood.
Aside of the vocation training there is also a 'Don Bosco Cooperative' that does the marketing for our agricultural products.
