SDB FIN: Fr. Fabio Attard visits Tuloy Kids

April 15, 2018 Alabang. “Why is father crying? Did he not like our song?”  This was the question of Alex a resident of Tuloy sa Don Bosco Street Children Village. Fr. Fabio had just finished celebrating Sunday Mass for the children who bid him goodbye with the song “Amazing Love.” This was about the 4th time that Fr. Fabio came to visit this Foundation not owned by the Salesians. There are four Salesians working there. This year is the centers 25th anniversary. The center is also unique in a way that although it was founded by a Salesian, the Laity have been a strong driving and inspiring force. Pope Francis had admonished many sectors of the Church about the dangers of Clericalism. Well Tuloy foundation does not really worry about this. At present everyone just had to remember that although we all have unique voices we sing the one same song. How it happens for the benefit of young people is God’s Amazing Love that brings so much joy, it can overwhelm you to tears.
