Don Bosco Da Lat, Vietnam, 28 April 2023 -- On the evening of April 26, during the visit to the Don Rua Community (Don Bosco Da Lat), Father Barnabas Le An Phong had a meeting with Cooperators of the Mother Help of Christians Center.

After the welcome, Mr. Peter Le Thanh Bao, Center Coordinator, briefly presented the personnel situation, activities and apostolate, the vocation of the center. Accordingly, Center currently has 42 members working regularly and 12 people studying and applying. Brothers and sisters are always united, in communion to carry out the mission of loving service to young people and are participating in apostolate with the Community such as: classes for poor pupils, companionship with aspirants and students... The Coordinator also raised the advantages and disadvantages, in which the center is facing.

Next, Father Provincial shared the common concerns of the other Centers that he met. Including the issue of inviting young people to participate in the cooperator Vocation, mission impleme'sntation, formation, the relationship between centers and Communities and parishes; expand solidarity between centers.

The Provincial emphasized that the Salesian Cooperator is a Vocation - that vocation follows the promised life of a person. The Salesian vocation follows Don Bosco's spirituality - living lovingly serving young people, especially poor and abandoned children. According to the Provincial Provincial, Young people today may not be poor in material terms, but they are poor in character, morality, religion, etc., so they need attention.

The issue of formation is a common concern of the whole Province, not just the cooperators. The Provincial suggested that centers should arrange time to ask Salesians to help training in spirituality, vocation, mission...

Another point shared by Father Provincial is the relationship between Cooperator Center and the Salesian Community and parish. Salesians must understand the vocation of the Cooperator; The Cooperators must closely associate with the Community and parish to support each other to live their Vocations.

The center representative thanked Father Provincial for taking the time to meet, listen and give practical instructions to the cooperators to live the Salesian vocation and apostolic mission.
