Cebu, The Philippines, 1 August 2024 -- Don Bosco Formation Center – Lawaan’s Summer Camp 2024, themed “Alta Petens: Taking Bolder Steps,” commenced on July 23, 2024, and concluded on July 27, 2024. The camp was held at the stunning Masbas Eco Bay Resort on Camotes Island, Cebu. This year’s summer camp broke the chilling mood as the campers immersed themselves in intense and invigorating activities.
The recently concluded camp saw the active participation of 21 enthusiastic campers (Aspirants), 6 dedicated Salesians, 8 diligent camp organizers, and 2 supportive DBFC staff members. Inspired by the theme, the camp had ripple effects on the lives of the campers as it helped them embrace boldness, foster a spirit of fearlessness in exploring their faith and personal growth, and enkindle their leadership potential.
Now, the campers are all inspired to take bolder steps as they embark on their journeys with courage, conviction, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact on their communities and beyond. They can bravely acclaim that they can truly “take bolder steps!”
