Don Bosco Cat Dam, Vietnam North Delegation
Cat Dam, 31 October 2021 -- In the past, some families were closely involved in the activities of the Don Bosco Cat Dam Shelter. It is a precious gift we give to each other with God, with Don Bosco and the disabled, Don Bosco students and the Youth Center.
Living the month of the Rosary and being a child of Don Bosco, each person is invited to express their love for Our Lady in a special way, with Don Bosco known as “Our Lady Help of Christians”. Over the time of forming and developing the Salesian Congregation, Don Bosco was convinced: “Entrust everything to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary Help of Christians, and you will see what miracles are!” For Thai Binh Diocese, the prayer at the end of prayers or Masses still resounds “Our Lady Help Christians – Pray for us.”
During the meeting on Tuesday, 5 October 2021, Don Bosco Cat Dam Shelter Community wished to establish ADMA DON BOSCO Cat Dam, including families associated with the Cat Dam Shelter and who have gradually expanded in numbers. The Rector, Fr Peter Pham Ngoc Chinh, will be the spiritual animator.
The ADMA Association was officially established at the Don Bosco Cat Dam Shelter Community in communion with ADMA around the world.
With the holy joy of celebrating the mass, saying the rosary under the Don Bosco statue and the family atmosphere during dinner on the Mother’s day, 24 October, and Mission Sunday, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians and Don Bosco, may God bless the effort of spreading the devotion to Our Lady Help of Christians.
