Duc Huy, Vietnam, July 12 - It was a happy day for our parish of Duc Huy, celebrating the 200th Birthday of Don Bosco together with the parish community, youth and with the Salesian family. It was a day full of joy and family spirit.
The program was from 8 AM until 4 PM. First of all there was a nice Quiz about Don Bosco among the Catechism class children, then followed the games and sport events in the football field between 23 different parish groups. Lunch box for 1500 young participants was distributed. Eucharist presided by the General Vicar of our diocese was at 3 PM followed by some cultural events.
This celebration raised high the Salesian spirit and commitment of all participants, renewing our conviction, that a good education brings hundred fold fruits. To plant good seeds in the life of young people makes the whole society and Church better today and in the future.
