Makati City, the Philippines, 5 February 2017 -- Members of the youth ministry of St. John Bosco Parish in Makati City staged Todo de Mi (All of Me), a biographical play based on the life of Blessed Bartolome Blanco Marquez in celebration of their annual parish fiesta.

Blessed Bartolome Blanco Marquez was a Bosconian, a lay catechist, and a martyr. When the Spanish Civil War erupted, Bartolome was one of the thousands of Catholics who were killed for their faith. He left a love letter to his beloved Maruja and it contained all his saintly thoughts and heroic ideals even at the point of death. He was executed on October 2, 1936 shouting, "Viva Cristo Rey!" (Hail, Christ the King!).

On January 27, the Saint John Bosco parish youth performed with all their heart in the midst of their fellow young people in Barangay Pio del Pilar. Through their performance, they challenged the crowd to be firm in their faith and to love with a pure and faithful love—a message that is very apt for today's youth.

On January 29, a gala performance was held at the parish gymnasium after the 6:00 pm mass. No less than their Rector Fr. Gregorio Bicomong, SDB and the officers of the Vicariate of Sts. Peter and Paul Youth Ministry, Mr Christian Anthoni Sarasola and Ms Clotie Mae Talisay, attended the show. Viva, Don Bosco! Viva, Youth of St. John Bosco Parish!
