Comoro, Dili, Timor Leste, 25 July 2020 -- This week two important animation meetings (offline) were held in the Timor Leste Vice-province of St Callisto Caravario - Salesians who animate the SYM and Social Communication commission.
MEETING OF THOSE IN CHARGE OF THE SALESIAN YOUTH MOVEMENT
The Salesians who look after Salesian Youth Movement in various Youth Centres in the vice-province gathered at the Don Bosco Laga Community. The meeting began at 9 a.m. On the agenda was the formation of Salesian youth leaders and the re-launching of oratories in the 'new-normal' all over the country. The meeting lasted until 12:30 and concluded with an agape meal prepared by the Laga community.
SOCIAL COMMUNICATION COMMISSION MEETING
The meeting was held in Quelicai community and was organised by the provincial delegate for social communication, Fr Jose de Sa with the full participation of all members. The purpose of this meeting was to communicate to all commission members important information issued by the new General Councillor for social communication, Fr Gildasio Mendes. The SC commission members also tried to discern some guidelines for action to continue their task in this 'new normal' situation. On the other hand, the delegate and all members also discussed and re-edited the Province Guidelines on use of social media, before presenting them to all confreres in the Vice-province.
