K'Long, Vietnam, 14 February 2024 -- At 5:20 p.m. on 13 February 2024, the Rector Major and the General Councillors arrived at Lien Khuong Airport, Da Lat, Lam Dong. The Provincial of Don Bosco VietNam, Fr Barnabas Le An Phong, the Councillors, along with Fathers and a number of delegations from other countries, joyfully welcomed him and his councilors at the airport. Everyone happily welcomed Father Angel with friendly and joyful gestures. After that, everyone moved to the Saint Luigi Versiglia Community K'Long.
Previously, the VIE Province welcomed three groups from the Province of Saint John Bosco in North Philippines, the Province of Saint Francis Xavier in Japan, and the Vice-Province of Blessed Philip Rinaldi in Papua New Guinea - Solomon Islands.
Next, at 7:00 p.m. the same day, everyone gathered together to recite the evening prayer. Then Father Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, EAO Regional Councillor, and Provincial Father Barnabas once again welcomed the Rector Major, the General Councillors, and all the SDB representatives to Vietnam.
After brief greetings, Father Gioseph Kim Khanh, Vice Provincial of Vie Province, guided everyone on the time and necessary needs when living at K' Long Retreat Center.
Everyone enjoyed a friendly, fraternal meal together and shared stories of their province. At the end of the meal, everyone said the rosary, the night prayer, and went off to rest for the night.
