Lawaan, Talisay City, Cebu, The Philippines, 27 June 2020 -- Last March 2020, the SYM-FIS Core Group initiated activities through the social media since the nation had been placed under community quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic. One of the challenges was the #KabataangSalesianoChallenge, this aims to invite and encourage young people to do something worthwhile and avoid idleness.

The said challenge encouraged the young people to: (a) pray the Oratio Imperata every 12 noon and 8 pm; (b) share and post their best photo/s of memorable SYM activities with personal caption using the "I am a proud Salesian Youth" on their Facebook wall and sharing how the Salesian Youth Spirituality has made an impact in their life; and (c) tagging five other youth from Salesian settings to do the same.

The #KabataangSalesianoChallenge kept alive the fun-filled and formative SYM activities. It is also a means of promotion and of kumustahan. It kept the youth busy and do positive influence on social media. Even the pandemic could not quell the spirit of the SYM.
