Bangkok, Thailand, 24 February 2022 -- On 19 February 2022 Salesian Youth Ministry together with members of the Salesian Family, Thailand, organised an SYM gathering via a zoom online meeting. The theme of this meeting was “Do all things through love” following the Strenna of the Rector Major for this year. Main speaker of the meeting was Rev. Fr. Yarat Chaiyara, SDB who led the young people to know St Francis De Sales and his charism. Then he helped them to understand Don Bosco's educational system that flows from the heart of St Francis De Sales.
Although the pandemic has affected physical gatherings, online meetings bring us together in the same Salesian spirit. Thanks to all the member of the Youth ministry within the large Salesian Family who led many activities in this meeting. Special thanks to Rev. Fr Kriengsak Chaipornkaew,SDB - Rector of St Dominic school together with teachers and staff of the school who hosted this event. This SYM meeting is the first online meeting that brings more than 300 young people to see and feel the Salesian spirit through Salesians, Salesian Family member, and lay mission partners (people who work together to accompany the young) in the Salesian spirit.
