Cebu, Philippines, 12 September 2023 -- DBTC-Cebu had their club kick-off last September 8, 2023, organized by the Pastoral Animation Office. The event started with an Institutional Paraliturgy, presided over by the Rector, Rev. Fr. Randolph A. Figuracion, SDB, where the Bosconians offered flowers, recited the Holy Rosary, and sang Marian songs to celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of our Blessed Mother Mary.
The program commenced with a community dance as a gift to our Blessed Mother Mary on her birthday, and opening remarks given by Fr. Randy. The Bosconians were treated with a band presentation and more community dances led by the Salesian Youth Leaders to embrace the spirit of joy and optimism. Then the different SYM clubs, together with their moderators, were presented. The different clubs moved to their respective venues to start their first club meeting for the school year 2023–2024.
This event marks the first day of the Bosconians’ journey through empowerment, engagement, and enhancement, as shared by Fr. Randy.
