Don Bosco Alafua - Samoa Pacific Delegation (AUL province), 4 March 2022 -- Here in Samoa, we give thanks to the ANS news and to the AustraLasia news for keeping us informed regarding the Salesian Family in the World. We are praying hard for peace in Ukraine and her suffering people. Our Don Bosco Parish remembered the Ukraine people in our last Sunday Mass and we will continue to pray for Ukraine and Russia during this Holy Season of Lent.
Today we simply share a photo of our Salesian Cooperators taken last week at our first Gathering this pastoral year 2022. We celebrated the Eucharist to open our pastoral year's activities. The good news us that the Salesian Cooperators have planned to help our Salesian mission through our schools as in the past by sponsoring some students from poor families. Also there are new aspirants to the Salesian Cooperators and our Alafua Center is growing.
Regarding the Don Bosco Past Pupils, in the Delegation council we have asked the Principal and the Rector of our Alafua community, Fr Visesio, to relaunch our Past pupils' association Center!
After past months affected by the pandemic we are now looking at the future with hope and optimism. The needs of our young people keep our Salesian Family alive and working together!
