Fatumaca, Timor-Leste, 30 August 2024 -- Three Salesian priests, namely Fr Manuel Pinto, SDB, Fr Manuel Ximenes, SDB, and Fr Lino Belo, SDB celebrated their 25th anniversary of their Priestly Ordination at the National Shrine of Fatumaca. It was a great moment of gratitude to thank God for his countless blessings for the Salesian congregation and especially for the TLS vice-province. Chosen the words of St Paul, “He who calls you is faithful” (1 Thes 5:24) for this celebration, it brings them back to the fidelity of God himself and his loving mercy for them. Fr Lino presided over the Eucharistic celebration while there were numerous other diocesan and Salesian priests concelebrated in the Mass including Fr Anacleto Pires, SDB, TLS Provincial superior. There were members of the Salesian Family, friends and guests, and families of three confreres who participated at the ceremony. Bishop Leandro Maria Alves of Baucau graced the event with his presence.
