       Xuan Hiep, Vietnam, 7 December 2022 -- On December 5, 2022, the entire Salesian Family joyfully celebrated Blessed Philip Rinaldi. And that was also a very important and special day for Salesians in the Philip Rinaldi Theological community Xuan Hiep for accepting him as the Patron of the community.

       Mass started at 9:45 a.m. at the community chapel. with Fr Provincial, Barnabas Le An Phong, as main celebrant. Concelebrating with him were other Salesian priests. In addition, the community was also happy to have guests from many places who came to the community to congratulate and share the joy, especially among them the relatives of confreres, benefactors and members of the community's apostolic groups…

       Mass was also very special when class II and class III confreres were given the ministry of reader and acolyte. According to Canon 1035 §1, before being ordained to the diaconate, whether permanent or transitional, one is required to receive and exercise the ministry of reader and acolyte for an appropriate period of time.

       The confreres who received the ministry of Reader, included:

       Before Patron's day day, the Community held an Academy on Friday night (December 2, 2022) involving many members of the Community and brought a joyful and friendly atmosphere to the family spirit.
