Dalat, Vietnam, 27 May 2020 -- On Thursday afternoon of 21 May, the Salesian Cooperators of Mary Help of Christians Centre in Dalat celebrated the feast of Mary Help of Christians, their patron.
The celebration started at 4:30 p.m. with guidance for examination of conscience by Fr Joseph Nguyen Chan Hung, the rector of Don Rua post-novitiate and the Salesian delegate for Salesian Cooperators belonging to the Mary Help of Christians Centre. Then they went to confession before the holy mass began.
At 5:30 p.m. Fr Joseph Nguyen Chan Hung presided at the mass in honour of Mary Help of Christians together with Salesian priests from the post-novitiate community. Attending the mass were the brothers from the post-novitiate, religious from other congregations, Don Bosco parish committee, the representatives of different committees and groups and children of the parish, Don Bosco students and aspirants, and teachers of Don Bosco school for poor children in the post-novitiate. There was also the presence of two representatives from two Salesian Cooperators centres: Alexandria Duc Trong and Versiglia Bao Loc.
In his homily, Fr Joseph Do Duc Han, Vice-rector of the post-novitiate and also Don Bosco parish priest presented some virtues of Our Lady in order for everyone to know and imitate her to live in love and service of others.
There was a photo session after the mass, followed by dinner in fraternity and family spirit. Everyone spent the day joyfully and meaningfully with shared joy and love.
