Fuiloro, Tomor Leste, December 5, 2015 - From 30 November until 5 December, the 30 Salesian Brothers and Priests of the ITM Viceprovince, before the end of the school year, dedicated one full week to their annual conversion.
It was a wonderful moment to pause for a couple of days from our daily work, to refresh our mind, body and soul and to recharge our energy for the upcoming mission and for the next school year 2016.
We took this opportunity also as opportune time at the beginning of Advent season, for deepening of our spiritual life, preparing for the coming of our Lord Jesus. It was the first batch of spiritual retreat held in Fuiloro community. The retreat was preached by Fr. Paulo Pinto SDB (Portugal province) and guided by Fr. Apolinario Neto (ITM Vice-provincial).
The theme of the talks chosen by the preacher in this retreat is the ‘Sign and Bearer of God’s Love to the young’ (SDB Constitutions, art. 2)
During the retreat we went also to pray for the deceased Salesians to nearby parish Church of Los Palos where are buried some our confreres.
