Hatyai, Thailand, 2 July 2023 -- Saeng Thong Vitthaya School [SDB] together with the schools of the Salesian Sisters [FMA] organized an educational trip and cultural exchange with the Salesian Family schools in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region from 25 June - 1 July 2023. Bro. Thanad Anan, SDB, the director of Saeng Thong School - Songkhla, and four Sisters from the FMA schools, led the group, composed of 34 students of the SME Programme and 2 teachers.
The Thai students visited the institutes and did activities with the students from the 3 schools in the Salesian Family, namely: DMHC Siu Ming Catholic Secondary School, Aberdeen Technical School and Tang King Po School, Hong Kong, to learn the culture of the Chinese people too.
We send our heartfelt gratitude to the superiors and administrators of the Salesian Schools in Hong Kong for their warm welcome in a Salesian atmosphere. Special thanks go too to the 10 members of the Salesian Youth Movement of Hong Kong (SYM) who accompanied and took care of our group throughout the trip. We were all impressed with the friendship and the positive experiences shared.
