Sampran, Thailand, 2 May 2023 -- On 1 May 2023, Fr. Anthony Boonlert Paneetatthayasai, the Provincial, presided at the first religious profession of 2 novices, namely, Andrew Narongdat Pakdee and Michael Naruebet Suanchamni, at the chapel of the Savio Youth Center, Sampran, Nakorn Prathom. The parents and relatives of the newly professed, many salesian confreres and members of the salesian family participated with joy.
In his homily, Fr. Boonlert shared a reflection from the gospel of Mark 10, 17-30, about the rich young man and said "...today, Jesus is saying to us 'it is really difficult to enter the kingdom of God'. Even though this is difficult, but for God, everything is possible, because God loves us and grants much blessings to us. We enter into the salesian family, the family of St. John Bosco. therefore, we ask our father to be our model of life and let us cooperate with God."
We continue to pray for the two brothers, that they may continue to live their religious profession and grow in the salesian vocation to be signs and bearers of God’s Love to the young, day by day.
