PDO Ulanbaatar, Mongolia, 25 November 2022 -- Just one month before Christmas 2022, another Newsletter by the PDO (Planning Development Office) in the Mongolia Delegation (VIE - Delegate Superior, Fr Paul Leung) has been released. Mongolia is one of the most remote mission frontiers among the 23 countries of the EAO region, where the winter starts in September and ends in April. The long-nourished dream of self-reliable economy is being helped over the past few years with the PDO (Planning and Development Office) - a point of reference for the Mongolia Delegation's financial support and offering also a Don Bosco Mongolia window to the world. The Director of the Don Bosco Caring Center appeals:

       " What can you do?

►Save a coin from the change after shopping, Put it in the collection box and send it to us periodically. Your little coin means much to our children.

►Give children a smile during Christmas, New Year, and feast days by sending them a gift.

►Visit and share your story that encourages children to have more orientation for their future, to help them to feel that they are not abandoned. Dear Friend, no one is too poor to have nothing to give. We are fortunate that we were born into a proper family while other is not. And nobody is an island. We are living in a global family where we are brothers and sisters. Let our poor children share the same feeling that they are not excluded in this extended family. On behalf of our children and staff in the Caring center, I would like to express my gratitude for your support and care."

The 2022 Autumn issue of the MONGOLIA PDO NEWSLETTER offers a clear insight into the life and mission of the three main venues of the Salesian Mission in Ulanbaatar, Shuwuu and Darkhan. In this way it invites any potential benefactor, volunteer or simply Friend of Don Bosco in Mongolia or abroad to be involved in the mission:

       * Sharing from the newly arrived young Salesian missionary from Guatemala, Cristian Adolfo Lopez de Leon (29)

       * Summer volunteer experience by Radoslaw (27) and Patrycja (22)

       * Caring Center news (since the beginning some 200-300 went through), Day-care and Learning Center (Ulanbaatar)

       * Salesian Vocational and Industrial Skills Center (Ulanbaatar) with 97 first year students in 4 different departments.

       * Darkhan Don Bosco news (tree planting mission)

While keeping our Mongolian delegation confreres, Salesian family and lay mission partners in our prayers, we can visit their website at any stage: www.dbmongolia.org.
