Past Pupils of Don Bosco, 5 October 2022 -- Fresh news from all 4 world regions of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco World Confederation are again available on 5 October (liturgical commemoration of Blessed Albert Marvelli, Don Bosco Past Pupil). This time the 66 digital pages in 5 languages (English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese) offer many personal or association stories, together with the world leadership's pointers.

In his quarterly message, Br Dominic Nguyen Duc Nam,SDB (World Delegate for Don Bosco Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco) offers a short reflection on the 'Synodality path in the Salesian Charism', breaking down the 'walking together' in 3 key words: Salesian Sacrament of Presence (among the youth and lay people), Familiarity (daily building of relationships) and Journeying with the young people in the mission.

One heart touching article is about a President Emeritus of the World Confederation, Dr Giuseppe Castelli (Switzerland), who served the Association for 12 years as President and 6 years as Treasurer, and passed to the house of the Father few months ago.

Beside the regular messages from the World Confederation President Mr Bryan Magro, the Rector Major (Strenna 2022 and 2023), there are news from some 25 countries: Egypt, R.D. Congo, Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, Malta, India (Panjim, Kolkata, Chennai), USA, Timor Leste, Italy, Ukraine, Papua New Guinea, Mexico, Pakistan, South Africa, Slovakia, France, Costa Rica, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Portugal, Poland, Mozambique and the Philippines.

If you are not very familiar with the mission and activities of Don Bosco Past Pupils, you may be inspired by personal stories of our Past Pupils (sports, culture, politics, religion) or Association (local centers or national federations) activities in many fields (education, formation, association building, networking for the benefit of the young people).
